2. Audition Preparation Workshop (sponsored and funded by AGMA-AZ)
- Objective:Conduct a workshop to assist all choristers (not just AGMA members) in preparing
for their required biennial auditions, now planned for April 2007.
- Format:Choristers will present their required aria selection before a mock audition panel.
Arias will be evaluated by the panel of instructors and feedback/analysis provided to the choristers at
the end of their audition.
- Instructors:Dan Kurek, Julian Reed and Ann Nagell (accompanist) have agreed to instruct this workshop.
- Location:Shepherd of the Hills Church in Phoenix and Ashby Lohse Rehearsal Hall in Tucson.
- Dates:March 10th in Phoenix and March 17th in Tucson.
- Time:10am to 4pm
3. Stage Movement - "Era Blitz"

- February 17, 2007, 10am to 4pm - Tucson, Catalina Methodist Church
- Content and Schedule:
- Morning:
- Relaxation
- Connecting the physical to the emotional
- Exercises that open up physical character choices
- Use of "body language" in the theater etc.
- Afternoon:
- Manners, etiquette, props, and costumes of each era.
- Specialized dance movements required of choristers such as the Waltz (Fledermaus) and the Square Dance (Susannah)
- Stage movement in period dresses
